What is in The Show is in The Show
Merlin famously does not spend a lot of time editing the show, but the show starts when John picks up the Skype call and whatever happens during the recording stays in, for example John couching or Merlin snorting or streetcars, planes and seagulls passing by.
There were several episode that Merlin did not release because John went too much off track, probably talking about Hitler, Scientology, religion or politics.
In Episode 333 Merlin didn't record the first hour of the show by mistake, later coining the opposite term "What is not in the show is not in the show!"
