The show title refers to a YouTube video where ravens bring a little girl buttons, but no raven has ever brought John a button. It came up when they talked about spirit animals.
Dan and John have not spoken in a very long time. Is has been a whole month and they are depriving their listeners of their regular experience. Even today Dan is making an exception, recording the show at an unusual date and time. John jokes that part of the reasons for his absence were his trips to CES and the AVN Awards where he presented the award for best blow job. If he is going to rent a tux, he might as well go all the way.
Dan's family was repeatedly watching and very much enjoying John's video The Week Between, where he is playing the ukulele while sitting in a sled. Dan's kids can't believe that Dan knows John, the celebrity from YouTube, personally.
Dan talks for a while about Planet of the Apes. The one film with Marky Mark did not happen. Don't watch that one! The other 4 or 5 movies are good.
