The time of recording is very early for John, but he has a lot of stuff going on and wanted to get this show on the road. For Dan it is already the third podcast of the day. John wonders how Dan keeps it fresh, but it is his job, so he better be! Dan had a topic today, which is very different from John's other podcast where Merlin never has any topics. Maybe he is just guiding the conversation very subtly, but sometimes when something huge had happened during the week, Merlin doesn't bring it up and John doesn't bring it up and it ends up not being in the show. Dan tries to follow the narrative of John's life as best as he can, mainly via Instagram. Merlin lives in the moment and that show happens in the moment. John doesn't think he has a plan.
